Damn Yankees
The musical tells the tale of a salesman who sells his soul to the devil so his favorite team beats the New York Yankees.

Anne of Green Gables
The orphan girl Anne Shirley of L.M. Montgomery's classic story is brought to the stage. See her meet her guardian, graduate from Queen's Academy, and recreate other memorable events from the story.

Winter Wool Festival
The Heritage Farm includes a farmhouse, a garden, and that favorite of children, the farm animals. Learn how the wool from the farm's Navajo churro sheep are woven into sweaters and blankets, and how plants from the garden are used to make dyes to color the wool. Artisans will be on hand to answer questions and show the process.
When: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., Saturday, February 25

Cost: Included with regular admission; $7 adults, $3 seniors and children 3-12.
Kids Fishing Fair
Children, ages 4-12, can learn about fishing by visiting the interactive Discovery Stations. No registration is required.

Celebration of Gourds
The annual gourd show features gourd art, competitions, classes, gourd artists, dried gourds, gourd history, and everything you need to get started creating gourd art. The featured artist is Robert Rivera.

Where: Expo New Mexio, Lujan building
Cost: Free, $5 parking.
Water Conservation/Xeriscape Expo
The expo features water harvesting demos, rain barrel uses, irrigation, composting and more. Judith Phillips will be one of many speakers at the expo.

Cost: Free, $5 parking.
US Track and Field Championships
About 400 athletes will compete for spots on Team USA, the world's #1 track team. Athletes who win at this weekend's event get to represent the U.S at the 2012 IAAF Indoor Track and Field championship in Istanbul, Turkey.

Where: Albuquerque Convention Center, 401 Second SW

The Lady Lobos will battle TCU at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Pit.
Spring Sports
The New Mexico Ballet Company performs baseball, tennis and other sports as you've never seen them before, choreographed by Pilobolus choreogrpaher Peter Pucci. They'll also perform the Tschaikovsky Pas de Deux as choreographed by George Balanchine. Wow.

If you're a film fan, then by all means be sure to see some of the remaining films running in the Italian Film Festival. And on Sunday, slide into a party mood and head to the KiMo and watch the Oscars unfold in a gala event.
Have an 8th or 9th grader? Don't miss the School to World event happening downtown at the Convention Center. It's free and kids get insight into their interests and see what careers look like. It's Saturday, February 25 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Erda Gardens Annual Souper Supper
Munch your way through homemade soups, salads and bread while listening to A Band Named Sue. The fundraiser and membership drive is a great way to meet and greet the farmers who grow your food. Become a member of Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) and help a local farmer, and in return, eat fresh, food. Learn what CSA is all about.
