The annual Old Town Holiday Stroll celebrates the season and gives shoppers a great chance to shop local. The merchants of Old Town stay open late, offer special discounts, and provide plenty of festivities and entertainment. Every year luminarias light the streets and patios, creating a festive glow. This year, fire pits will add to the glow and help keep shoppers warm.

The stroll takes place this Friday, December 7. Shops will stay open until 10 p.m. The giant holiday tree in San Luis Plaza will be lit just after 6 p.m. Live entertainment will take place in Old Town's gazebo and many plazas. Hear sax quartets, barbershop quartets, choral groups, a marimba band and see dancers such as the McTeggart Irish Step Dancers. See the entire schedule.

The Holiday Stroll begins at 4 p.m.
