Chanukah Fest

By December 5, 2012

Follow me on:

Chanukah, the eight day festival of light, runs December 8 through 16 this year. The annual Chanukah celebration in downtown Albuquerque happens this Sunday, December 9, with Mayor Berry lighting the giant menorah. Afterwards, there will be a kosher dinner in the Convention Center, along with the music of The Pink Flamingos. Kids will keep busy with an art table, dreidel spinning, a clown, face painting and gifts.

The celebration is put on by Chabad of New Mexico, and tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door.
