Tea in Albuquerque

Bubble tea, loose tea, tea houses--fortunately for Albuquerque, we have them all. Tea is the new coffee, only better, some say. If you've given up caffeine, don't despair. Even tea can be decaffeinated, and herbal teas offer a satisfying way to enjoy a hot beverage.

Afternoon tea can be found at two locations in Albuquerque: Mes Amis Teahouse in Nob Hill, and The St. James Tearoom in the north valley. Both offer an elegant parlor experience and a place to spend a few hours with family and friends.

Young people love bubble tea, and for that, there are several Boba Tea Company locations around town. The sweet drinks seem to be getting as popular as Starbucks. And if it's loose tea you're after, there are several places around to purchase it, such as New Mexico Tea Company, Hadleys, and Kung Fu Cowboy Tea Cafe. Whatever kind of tea experience you're looking for, you'll find it in Albuquerque.
