Shidoni Gardens

A short drive north of Santa Fe in Tesuque, New Mexico, the Shidoni offer visitors eight acres of sculpture gardens, galleries, and a working foundry. The sculpture gardens are in two areas, with dozens of sculptures. Many are made of bronze, but some are carved of stone, and others are pieced together from metal parts that are recycled into works of art.

Shidoni Gardens is located outdoors in two park like areas dotted with trees. Pathways wind among the sculptures. There is no set way to view the sculptures, many of which tower toward the sky. Some are representational, depicting animals and people, others more abstract. Many are kinetic and move with the breeze.

Viewing the sculptures in the gardens is free of charge.
