Land/Art New Mexico, continues its broad reaching exploration of land-based art. The collaborative features the work of more than 60 artists, over 25 organizations and six months time, this theme-based series of events encompasses exhibitions, site-specific projects, lectures, performances, tours, poetry and films.

First Love
A play about the universal factor, which is sometimes tragic, sometimes funny, but altogether necessary. A comedy about the realities of relationships. As part of a winter drive for the homeless, patrons are asked to bring coats, winter clothing, sleeping bags, etc., to 700 1st NW between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
When: 8 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays; 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Saturdays; 6 p.m. Sundays.

Beauty and Desire Exhibition
New work by internationally renowned local artist Kevin Zuckerman.

Saints of the Pueblos
An installation of the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center's santeros features 23 retablos by santero Charles M. Carrillo. The show includes the patron saints of each Pueblo as well as four ancestral pueblos no longer inhabited.

Maize Maze
This year, the Rio Grande Community Farm's Corn Maze is a monarch butterfly and its antecedent, the caterpillar. Enjoy walking the seven acre puzzle and discover the hay labyrinth with the kids. The first weekend in November is your last chance to enjoy the maze.
When: Fridays 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.; Saturdays 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.; Sundays and holidays, 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.

New Mexico Symphony Orchestra Players Association Concert
The New Mexico Symphony Orchestra Players Association (NMSOPA) presents a benefit concert conducted by David Felberg. Hear Fantasia on "Greensleeves" by Vaughn Williams, Symphony No. 9 by Dvorak, and the Andante and Hungarian Rondo by Weber. Special guest will be Stefanie Przybylska on bassoon. The benefit concert will go to interest free loans for NMSOPA musicians in need. Support your local musicians!

Equestiran Cup Wine and Food Tasting
Sample food from more than 20 of Albuquerque's finest restaurants, select microbreweries, and vineyards. There will be live jazz and a hunter-jumper equestrian event. Proceeds benefit All Faiths Receiving Home Children's Safehouse.

Seed Souls: Nourishing Life, Honoring Death
This exhibition is part of the Dia de Muertos community ofrenda. Community member work with artist Catalina Delgado Trunk to turn the center's stairs into a Day of the Dead memorial. The public can view the altar during regular hours.

Nob Hill Nights
Nob Hill Nights continues this month with the Home and Harvest Festival. Every first Thursday of the month this free event features a different theme. Streets will be closed off on Central between Dartmouth and Carlisle. For November's Festival, The Place at Nob Hill will be decorated in decor from Nob Hill home furnishing and design stores. La Montanita will highlight local produce and farming. O'Niells will have live entertainment and Albuquerque favorite Wagogo will be a featured act. This is a great way to get out and support your local businesses, which will be open late for this event. Park on Central east of Carlisle or at Monte Vista Christian Church.

Kathy Mattea in Concert
Kathy Mattea has a traditional folk sound fused with social commentary. Her newest album Coal has garnered rave reviews.

First Friday Fractals and Fractals Rock
Art and science meet under the planetarium dome for these live presentations. Fractals Rock has more rock music and less talk.
