Grecian Festival
Yasou! With Greek dances, music, songs, and of course, that most important ingredient, food, on hand, you won't want to miss this event. Since 1975, the Greek Festival has been the place locals visit when they aren't at the Balloon Fiesta. Even though the words are Greek, they are some of my favorites: baklava, moussaka, megali salad (think Seinfeld's Big Salad). Alcohol is served, with 100% of the sale proceeds going to needy kids. Feel free to imbibe (within reason). Park at the SW corner of University and Lomas for a free Park and Ride shuttle.

There are also ongoing demonstrations, wine tasting, activities for the kids, and entertainment. Visit the Festival website for a $1 off coupon.
