Wildlife West Chuckwagon Supper
This is the last chuckwagon supper of the summer at Wildlife West Park. There will be music by Holy Water and Whiskey, chuckwagon food (with vegetarian option), and even a hayride.

Fiesta de los Ninos
The Las Golondrinas living history museum presents Fiesta de los Ninos, a children's celebration. The Spanish colonial museum will present games, crafts and entertainment all weekend. There will be games, crafts and entertainment for the whole family.

New Mexico Wine Festival
Sample wines from over 20 different New Mexico wineries, enjoy food, music and entertainment. Take the Rail Runner, which has extra runs all weekend for the occasion. The festival is known for its wine and for its non-stop, top-notch entertainment.

Burning of Zozobra
This annual event draws huge crowds for a reason. When Old Man Gloom goes up in smoke, so do all your worries and cares. There will be musical entertainment, pyrotechnics and of course, fireworks.

First Friday ARTScrawl

New Mexico Centennial Festival of Hispanic Heritage
There will be two days of live entertainment, and a variety of Hispanic performers throughout Old Town. Special Centennial performances feature James and Frank Chavez, Guillermo Figueroa, Festival Ballet Albuquerque, and Patricia Dickinson. This is a free event.

Solar Sunday
Every second Sunday of the month, the large telescope upstairs at the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science opens to show viewers our closest star, the sun. See the Chaco Solstice exhibit and hear a story about the sun.

Hispanic Heritage Month Kickoff
As part of the Centennial celebration, the National Hispanic Cultural Center will host Celebrating 100 Years of Hispanic Culture. The event will include a tour of the buildings, and on the plaza, music, dance and spoken word. This is a free event.

We Art the People Folk Festival and Parade
The 8th annual festival features more than 100 folk art vendors, music, dance, arts and crafts, and at 11 a.m., the Giant Puppet Samba Parade.

Salsa Fiesta
The annual Salsa Fiesta takes homemade salsa to another level. Enter your recipe to win cash prizes, with top prize bringing $1,000. Taste salsas and vote for your favorites; taste local wines; or just enjoy the salsa dancers. Hear the Spanish Harlem Orchestra. With entertainment for kids, art, music, stories and games, this can be a family affair. This is a free event, though salsa tasting is a $5 charge; taste and vote.

International Community Day
Groups representing the diverse cultural groups in Albuqueqrue's international district will be at Hyder Park. The New Mexico Philharmonic will give a free concert. There will be food, dance, music and fun. The event is free.

Harvest Festival
The City of Albuquerque manages over 366 acres of farmland within the city limits, and will celebrate its agricultural heritage at its annual Open Space Urban Farm and Harvest Festival. There will be farmers, conservation organizations, hayrides, composting demos, wildlife rescue presentations, and more. Enjoy live music by the Red Rooster Trio, a magic show and a children's parade and costume contest. Bring a picnic lunch or purchase food. There will be plenty of activities for the kids. This is a free event.

Sandia Green Chile Festival
There will be a celebration of green chile, with locally grown chile, an artisan's market, local brewery area, a green chile roast-off, food tasting and more. Live entertainment includes Le Chat Lunatique and the Squash Blossom Boys.
