Gathering of Nations Pow Wow
The annual gathering features over 3,000 Indian dancers, singers and artists from over 500 North American tribes. Nothing less than an extravaganza, with dances, traditional and contemporary music, Miss Indian World contest, and Indian Trader’s Market. For when you can’t be there, listen via Gathering of Nations Internet Radio. Re-entry is available with purchase of a two day pass.

Garden Fair and Plant Sale
If you love gardening, this is a must-see event. Local gardeners sell flowers, bedding plants, vegetables, daylilies and dispense gardening advice. This is a good bet for purchasing plants that will thrive in a southwestern climate. There will be a bake sale as well. Get there early for the best selection. The event is free.

Spring Salsa Sensation
Enjoy two days of events with Appaloosa horses and their riders at the New Mexico Paint Horse Club's show. Free at the indoor horse arena, New Mexico Expo.
