It's a tradition in our house to go out to a Halloween pumpkin patch and pick our own pumpkins for the season. Each fall season, the Albuquerque area offers a number of places to find a bright orange squash to take home. Enjoy picking out just the right pumpkin at a nearby pumpkin patch.

The fun and adventure of the seven acre Fractal Maze also includes activities such as the haybale city, farm animals, and special amphibian activities from the ABQ BioPark. The drought has forced the Rio Grande Community Farm to scale back on its maze, and hours will be restricted as a result. However, despite scaling back on days, there will be plenty of other fun activites, such as a Pumpkin-Palozza and a 5K run.
For 2013: Saturday afternoons in October.
