Zoo Boo
Happy Halloween! The Zoo Boo offers a place for kids to safely gather candy, visit the zoo animals, and participate in lots of Halloween themed fun. This is an extremely popular event, so expect to stand in line. Once the doors open, the line moves quickly; but bring entertainment for the kids. Park and Ride will be available from the Aquarium and Botanic Garden from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Thrill the World Albuquerque
The world's largest simultaneous Thriller dance will take place in Albuquerque on Saturday, October 26 at 3 p.m. at Albuquerque Little Theater. Register to participate and learn this fun dance.

Howl-O-Ween Cat Show
The annual Howl-o-Ween cat show features cats in fancy costumes, just in time for Halloween. All proceeds benefit ACAT and NM Animal Friends. Visit their website for a $1 coupon good toward admission. It happens at New Mexico Expo.

The Great Pumpkin Chase
The course if fast and flat and crosses through the Country Club neighborhood, beginning at Kit Carson Park. Participants are encouraged to wear a costume. Prizes are awarded for overall and age group winners as well as best costume. There's a Kids K, 5K and 10K.

Howl and Growl
The third annual Howl and Growl takes place at Wagner Farms in Corrales, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Halloween themed event features dog costume contests and adoptable dogs from local rescue groups. The event takes place at the corn maze and pumpkin patch entry to Wagner's.

Day of the Tread
The annual bike ride and run/walk event benefits local charities. Dress in Day of the Dead costumes, enjoy music, food and a day of fit fun.

Hinkle Family Fun Fall Festival
The family event features safe trick or treating on the miniature golf course. Kids in costume are admitted free. For more fun, get the Pumpkin Pass and participate in rides, games and more.

Slightly Scary Storytime
Come in your costume and prepare to have your spine tingling as scary stories are presented at the Loma Colorado Library in Rio Rancho. The story time is from 3 to 4 p.m.

Kids can safely trick or treat with the merchants in Old Town.

Kidgits Mall-O-Ween
The kids' trick or treating event will take place between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. on the lower level court of Cottonwood Mall. There will be games, costume contests, prizes and lots of fun. 

Trick or Treat So Others May Eat
Trick or treat in Coronado Mall, and decorate pumpkins in the Sears court. Bring canned food items for Joy Junction shelter at the south center court entrance, where you'll receive a starter bag with candy. For kids 2 - 12, the event runs from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Scare-Athon Halloween Charity Carnival
The first annual carnival will be held at Sheraton Uptown, with proceeds to benefit Big Brothers, Big Sisters. Trick or treat through the haunted hotel guest rooms. There will be a photo booth, psychic and tarot readings, and a family friendly haunted house. Enter the pumpkin photo contest to win a free night at the Sheraton. Call (505) 830-5780 for information.

Halloween at O'Niell's
The O'Niell's in Nob Hill will have Halloween themed questions during their Geeks Who Drink Pub quiz.  There will also be a pumpkin carving contest. On Halloween, they'll have a costume contest at both locations.

Monster Mash Bash
OFFCenter for the Arts has a Halloween celebration that includes indulging in your creative side. There will be mask making, sugar skull making, skeleton face painting, a photo booth, snacks and a costume contest. The mash runs from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The scary movie Nosferatu will play at the KiMo Theare at 8 p.m. The silent film is a retelling of the classic horror story, Dracula. The Alloy Orchestra, a three-man musical ensemble, will perform during the movie.

Big Ass Spider
The Guild Cinema presents its Halloween Creepy Crawl Out with Big Ass Spider, a film that features a giant spider making its way to Los Angeles. Watch out, it's 10 stories tall. Shows at 5, 7:15 and 9:30.

Devil's Delight Haunted Halloween Costume Party
Sandia Casino will have a costume party in the ballroom on Halloween night, from 9 p.m. to midnight.

Halloween Weekend
The Aux Dog Theatre will present its version of Little Shop of Horrors, a dance teaser to the production coming next season.

Freaky Friday Night
Isleta Resort & Casino will have a Halloween dance and costume contest in the showroom. Already Gone with special guest BJ the DJ will perform. Register to compete in the costume contest.
