The New Mexico Jazz Festival is a collaboration of the Outpost Performance Space, the Lensic Theater in Santa Fe, and the Santa Fe Jazz Foundation. The festival features local performers as well as jazz masters and well known artists from around the world.
Albuquerque venues take place at the Outpost Performance Space and Old Town Plaza. In Santa Fe, catch the acts at the Lensic Performing Arts Center or Santa Fe Plaza.
Tickets can be purchased at the Outpost or Lensic box offices, or online.

Mose Allison
Allison is back on tour, singing his jazzy blues, after a twelve year hiatus. Welcome back, Mose. The Pat Malone Quartet opens.

Michael Anthony
The sought after guitarist has played with Andy Williams and Michelle Legend, and for television shows to include the Carol Burnett Show. He taught guitar for years at Manzano High School and in this concert will be joined by some of his former students, well known in their own right.

Mose Allison
I won't disclose the year, but I first saw Mose Allison a few moons ago when he opened for a relative newcomer called Bonnie Raitt. The legend is back, singing in his jazzy blues style. This one will be crowded, so get there early. Patti Littlefield and Main Stem open.

Maceo Parker
There will be three sound stages where the music of Maceo Parker and others can be heard, all during the Summerfest. Walk back and forth from one stage to the other to enjoy. Other acts include Hillary Smith & Soul Kitchen, Cathryn McGill, Cali Shaw, Wagogo and more, 25 acts in all. Whew!

Preservation Hall Band
Preservation Hall in New Orleans was the start for jazz greats such as Louis Armstrong and Jelly Roll Morton. The Preservation Hall Band celebrates 50 years of bringing turn of the 20th century New Orleans music to audiences.

Hallelujah!
The film by Steven Feld is about Ghanaba (Guy Warren), the Ghanaian jazz drummer famous for the albums he made with jazz musicians in the U.S. and U.K. in the 50s and 60s. There will be a post screening discussion with Randy Weston and Steve Feld.
