Old Town Offers Free Performances

Cultural Sunsets Run Thursdays at No Charge

By , About.com Guide

Each summer, the City of Albuquerque puts on a great show of evening entertainment in Old Town, Wednesdays through Sundays. Not only does it bring together a diverse lineup of weekly dancers and musicians, it does so for free.

The Thursday night Cultural Sunsets series run most Thursday nights from May to October. Each week, the focus is on a culture found in Albuquerque, bringing audiences a sense of the music, costumes and dance of a cultural region. Performances take place on the plaza. Each week also features a make and take craft activity for children. Performances run from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Some nights feature more than one performer, changing on the hour.
