Las Posadas

See the reenactment of the journey to Bethlehem. In Barelas, the event wanders through streets toward its destination, with the celebratory feel of a parade. In Corrales, hear a children's choir and children as they portray Mary and Joseph on their journey to the stable.

Albuquerque is home to some special Nutcracker Ballet performances. We have regional ballet troupes, the Nutcracker in the Land of Enchantment and the Nutcracker on the Rocks each holiday season. More traditional performances take place each season as well. There's a Nutcracker for everyone.
