Anasazi Winery crafts fruit wines from grapes, apricots, peaches, cranberries, raspberries, cherries and even chockecherries. You'll find wines and apertifs that have been aged in oak from one to four years. Found on the western end of the village of Placitas, the vineyards are watered by a spring-fed irrigation system that dates back to when the Anasazi farmed the area. Though they craft fruit wines, they are not sweet, but deliciously dry. Visit the winery for a tasting and a personalized winery tour.

Grapes are grown in the beautiful countryside of Tome, south of Albuquerque. Wines are available for tasting on weekends. The winery opened in December, 2012.

The winery produces wines using Spanish and Argentinian grapes of Trempranillo and Malvec varieties. The grapes are grown in rural Algodones, located between Santa Fe and Albuquerque. Casa Abril continues the Spanish traditions brought to New Mexico centuries ago.

Nestled in the heart of Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, this winery is both bucolic and elegant. Wines are crafted from the grapes grown right on the winery's grounds, and range from dry whites to Syrahs and reds. Try the award-winning wines in the tasting room and enjoy a stroll through the grounds. Have a glass on the patio.

The family owned winery produces award winning Muscat Canelli dessert wine with their own grapes. Other wines are produced from New Mexico grapes to become Rieslings, Mariachis, and Cabernets. Found in the heart of the historic village of Corrales, the area is one of the oldest wine growing regions in North America. Visit the winery and stay on to shop in the village, which features fine arts and crafts.

For $7, take a taste of five Gruet wines and take home a souvenir glass. With a tasting of reserve wines, the cost is $15 and a souvenir Riedel/Gruet champagne or wine glass. Tours are available for up to 30 people, and even larger groups can be accommodated if split into more than one group. The Gruet family has given an appreciative public its award winning wines since 1989. Its grapes are grown in southern New Mexico near Truth or Consequences, where the days are warm and the nights are cool, ideal growing conditions for grapes. Gruet produces nine different sparkling wines, two Chardonnays and two Pinot Noirs, both with regular bottling and reserve bottling.

Matheson wines are made exclusively with New Mexico grapes. Owner and vintner Mark Matheson opened his winery in 2007 after making wines and consulting at other wineries. They offer red, white and dessert wines, some of which are award winners.

The winery produces Zindandel, Chardonnay, Merlot, Carbernet Sauvignon, Cabarnet Franc and Syrah wines from their own grapes. The fine wines are made from Vinifera grapes and finished through handcrafting with traditional techniques in French oak casks.

The winery in Corrales has been open to the public since 2012. They grow their own grapes and bottle Chardonnay, Merlot, Moscato, Tres Rojos and Malvasia Bianca. Visit them as part of the Corrales wine loop.

The Old Town area bistro offers patio charm on golden Albuquerque days, and a chance to taste some New Mexico wines. Lunch and dinner are served, and wines can be purchased and/or paired with food. The St. Clair vineyards are near Deming in the southern part of the state, where the nights are cool and the days are warm, making for ideal grape growing conditions. St. Clair produces award winning wines. Located in the heart of Albuquerque's agricultural south valley. Most of the winery's grapes are grown 50 miles south of the winery in Veguita. The wines include Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabarnet Franc, Tempranillo, Syrah and Sauvignon Blanc.
