Il y a toujours l'amour a La Provence. The romantic eatery offers a special Valentine day menu that includes four courses. Dine on the heated patio or in the dining room. The La Fonda at the National Hispanic Cultural Center
features a prix fixe dinner for two. The four course meal is complemented with a long stemmed rose, complementary glass of champagne and the dessert bar. Entrees include filet mignon topped with crab meat, pheasant, or striped sea bass. $65 per couple.
Los Poblanos Inn and Organic Farm will host a three course Valentines dinner inspired by the tastes of Spain, a Valencia Valentine evening. Begin with a guided sherry tasting, followed by a flamenco performance by Jose Chuscales and dancers. Pars offers a Valentine's feast and live entertainment for a special Valentine's dinner on February 14. Enjoy live piano music and a belly dancer. The Mediterranean meal has an appetizer, soup or salad, entrees such as lamb souvalaki and a special dessert. The popular French bistro has two locations, one downtown and the other in Nob Hill. Their four course prix fixe menu includes smoked salmon mousse, lobster, smoked duck napolean, lobster stuffed sole and filet mignon. Finish it off with a molten chocolate lava cake. $50 per person.
