Chef Kevin Bladergroen travelled the world learning the art of cooking with some of the best known chefs. His small, neighborhood bistro in Placitas is one of the most romantic restaurants in the area. Make a reservation for their Valentine's dinner.

The La Fonda at the National Hispanic Cultural Center
features a prix fixe dinner for two. The four course meal is complemented with a long stemmed rose, complementary glass of champagne and the dessert bar. Entrees include filet mignon topped with crab meat, pheasant, or striped sea bass. $65 per couple.
Los Poblanos Inn and Organic Farm will host a three course Valentines dinner inspired by the tastes of Spain, a Valencia Valentine evening. Begin with a guided sherry tasting, followed by a flamenco performance by Jose Chuscales and dancers. Dinner follows with something special from Chef Jonathan and the team. $95 per person for dinner and sherry tasting. Special room packages are available starting at $325, which includes dinner. Pars offers a Valentine's feast and live entertainment for a special Valentine's dinner on February 14. Enjoy live piano music and a belly dancer. The Mediterranean meal has an appetizer, soup or salad, entrees such as lamb souvalaki and a special dessert. Reservations should be made online; seatings from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. or 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. $80 per couple.
The popular French bistro has two locations, one downtown and the other in Nob Hill. Their four course prix fixe menu includes smoked salmon mousse, lobster, smoked duck napolean, lobster stuffed sole and filet mignon. Finish it off with a molten chocolate lava cake. $50 per person. The Pueblo Harvest Cafe is centrally located and inside the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center. They're offering a special Valentine's menu February 14, with their specialty native fusion cuisine. The three course meal has vegetarian options. The Romance package includes an appetizer, two entrees, two desserts and VIP seating near the stage, $43 per person or $80 per couple. Sandia Resort offers three dining options for Valentine's dinner. Bien Shur offers romantic dining on the 9th floor with spectacular views. Menu includes white chocolate bisque, roasted beet salad, champagne sorbet, halibut or striploin and vanilla mousse strawberry cake. The five course meal is $135 per couple.
Thur Shan Buffet will have seafood, Asian, Mexican, Italian and American stations, as well as a rotisserie, carving station and mixed grill. Save room for an assortment of desserts. Cost is $25.95 per person.
The Council Room restaurant will have an a la carte menu. Offerings include salads, soups, starters, chef's specialties, steaks and dessert. Cost is per item.
