Vegan and Vegetarian Restaurants

Alternative Diet Restaurants in Albuquerque

By

Albuquerque has long had a number of vegetarian restaurants, and now vegan restaurants have also begun to open their doors. Whether you are strictly vegan or are a vegetarian, there are restaurants that cater to you, or ones that are vegetarian friendly. This list is by no means comprehensive, but it will get you started. Indian and Asian restaurants are always a workable option.

You'll find the flavors of Asia at this Nob Hill restaurant. You'll find the flavors of the Phillipines, Malaysia, India, Thailand, China and Japan, all in vegan "meats" that include fish, chicken, and beef along with traditional tofu.

Thai Vegan is my favorite vegan restaurant. You'll be amazed at all the options, and how good everything tastes, from the salads to the house specialties. Mix it up with just appetizers and noodles, or get a combination plate if you've got a large appetite. You can't go wrong with this jewel of a restaurant.
