The senior citizen centers in Albuquerque serve anyone 50+, and offer a variety of social programs. Whether you're looking for a reasonably priced meal, a place to learn or have a fitness workout, there are options around town.

A full line of classes are offered in drawing, painting, ceramics, computers, dancing and more. Enjoy dancing, fitness classes and a Red Hat Society. See the full schedule. Breakfast and lunch are served at the Highland Grill; reservations are required.

Los Volcanes Senior Center

The last Tuesday of each month features a dinner dance. 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. summers; 4:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. November - February.

The Los Volcanes Center has a gift shop open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. Enjoy breakfast and lunch, free WiFi, and notary services (by appointment). The Los Volcanes Fitness Center is located next door, and is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m., and Saturday 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Manzano Mesa Multigenerational Center

Manzano Mesa is an intergenerational center that welcomes all ages, with activities and focus on seniors and youth. Free WiFi internet access is available, as well as meals. The water spray park is a summertime favorite.

North Domingo Baca Multigenerational Center

The North Domingo Baca Multigenerational Center opened in late spring 2011. The newest of Albuquerque's community centers, it offers a computer cafe, community rooms, fitness rooms and meals. They offer free wi-fi.

North Valley Senior Center

The center offers free WiFi, reduced price breakfast and lunch, and notary service by appointment. There is also a gift shop. The Palo Duro Senior Sports and Fitness Center is located at 3351 Monroe NE. It provides seniors 50+ with equipment, classes and a rotating variety of programs. Hours are Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
