My Review

I moved here as a kid in 1973 and have been here ever since. My parents moved for the climate which I now completely understand. I think my favorite thing about Albuquerque IS the weather. It can get hot in the summer but never too hot. It's always within reason and not humid. Plus it cools off at night. Winter can bring a good dusting of snow but it never stays too long either. I love the late summer monsoons with their torrential downpours followed by a reassuring rainbow.

I live in the UNM area and have for the last 25 years. I would be hard pressed to move to a different area. I love the feel of the University area with it's older, quirky homes, college food and pubs, and the University itself. If you've never ventured on to campus--you must! It's a place to walk, sit, ride your bike or catch a show.

New Mexican food (not so much Mexican)--what can I say. I'd be lost without it. New Mexico has a cuisine all it's own.

So many things to love.
